Background: El Nido is a municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines that is well-known as a beautiful island destination all over the world. The goal of this project is to produce a travel guide that advertises different tours of the archipelago, revealing the natural wonders of the ecosystem: including strange islands, hidden beaches, and secret lagoons.
Overview: The product features indices enumerating the different stops at each tour. Each index corresponds to a transparent map printed on acetate sheets, which serves both as an aesthetic choice (to reflect clarity of the surrounding environment) and a practical one (to allow the visitors to bring the maps with them on the boats and into the water). This concept design includes collateral such as travel tickets, which are also printed on transparencies to allow for the visitors sea adventures.
